Matthew 18: 15-20
Challenges
1. Reflect on times you have had disagreement with someone close to you including someone in the church. If a disagreement is ongoing, consider ways you can reconcile with that person directly. If not, consider ways you can ensure you refuse to be part of indirect discussions between people with differences. Put one or more of those ways into practice this week.
2. Read Matthew 18:15-20, Exodus 20:16, Deuteronomy 19:15, Proverbs 26:20, Matthew 5:38-42, Matthew 6:9-15, Matthew 18:21-22, Luke 6:27-36, Romans 14:10-13, 1 Corinthians 11:17-34, 2 Corinthians 12:20, Ephesians 4:29-32, and 1 Peter 4:8. List at least four things you find important in these passages about forbearance, reconciliation, and forgiveness. Share what you learn with someone.
3. This week, take the first step toward reconciling a strained relationship you may have, or respond to someone seeking to reconcile a strained relationship with you.
