Welcome

Salem UMC is a welcoming community, growing in faith, serving God and neighbor with love across all generations.

Our mission is to create opportunities to connect in worship, study, and outreach in the name of Christ.

We invite all those who wish to come worship with us.

Worship

On Sundays, Salem UMC has a variety of social and learning opportunities.  Join us Sundays at 9:00am for our Sunday School classes for all ages including adults.  At 10:00am, we have a traditional worship service in our Sanctuary.  There is a brief Children’s Time  at each service, except the first Sunday of the month.

Nursery

Our Nursery is located on the second floor outside our Sanctuary. We invite infants to pre-kindergarten children to our nursery during our traditional worship service.

Holy Communion

We practice communion on the first Sunday of each month and during special services.  As is the tradition of the United Methodist, we practice an open table, and invite all who believe to participate regardless of membership or denomination.

Fellowship

Join us for fellowship before and after our services at our coffee bar right inside our west entrance.  We encourage you to join us and meet with our Pastor and other Church members.

Location

We are located at 115 Old Main Street in Newton, Kansas.
