Challenges
1. Quietly consider how you have received God’s invitation to become a child of God. Imagine ways you can express the joy of that invitation and celebrate it. Put one of these ways into practice this week.
2. Read Matthew 22:1-14, Genesis 12:1-7, Matthew 11:28-30, Mark 1:16- 20, Luke 20:34-38, John 3:1-17, Acts 6:32-39, Revelation 3:20, Revelation 19:6-9, Revelation 21:1-7, and Revelation 22:12-17. List at least four things you find important in these passages about God’s invitation and our response to that invitation. Share what you learn with someone.
3. Go out to eat with others in the family of faith or prepare a meal at home and invite them over. Celebrate being invited to become members of God’s family.
